Next Meeting 4/14/10 @ 6pm

March 10th

1. Seminar went really well. Experience. The Qualifier will hold more importance because every belt level will have to qualify either at State or Nationally.

2. Qualifier at Colorado Springs was a good learning experience. Character building experience for Lydia. She won both of her fights against older girls.

3. Bozeman tournament was on new mats. They were very slippery. All the students had a great experience

4. Great Falls and Billings Tournament is on April 10th. Grand Master Park will be at the Billings Tournament so the Rosbarsky's are going to this event. Great Falls tournament is recommended. It is well run.

5. Next Saturday 20th, Kim Sol is hosting a tournament at the University of Montana.

6. May 1st- Livingston Tournament. Very good experience and highly recommended. There are a lot of competitors.

7. Butte-June 12th State Championships.

8. Event Commitment Form and Worksheet. Planning is very important. Commit to the Coaches and individually.

9. Spring Cleanup Day. The more people....the faster it will get done.

10. Fund raisers.

  • Dinner and a Show.
  • Plants. Luke Befumo will sell us tomato plants that we can in turn sell.
  • Picture taking fund raiser through a photographer in Stevensville. May set this up at the All School Workout.
  • Dinner and a Show May 7th. Silent Auction, Kick-a-thon. Need donations.
  • Garage Sale. April or early May. Bring your stuff and sticker the item. 75% goes to the individual and 25% to the Booster Club.
  • Snack area was suggest again. We would need people to man it.

11. Mrs. Rosbarsky would like others to take over the responsibilities of the Booster Club. We need a new structure. Kim Sawyer was elected President of the Booster Club.

 

With fund-raising, we help each individual athlete raise their own money.

  1. Pay for any gear or uniforms the athlete may need. (sparring gear, TKD equipment, shoes, or anything ordered by Mrs. Rosbarsky.)
  2. Pay for testing fees, at colored belt level, but especially black belt level.
  3. Pay for any TKD related seminar or tournament
  4. Pay for travel expenses related to TKD, either tournaments or seminars.
  5. Also to pay for any TKD sponsored events, ie (Lock-ins, camp etc.
