February 10th

I. Recap from Fun Tournament.
A. Black Belt showing was fantastic (we will continue to offer free participation to red and black belts who help at the tournament.)
B. Didn’t sell any lunch combos. Muffins sold well. Made about $128 from concessions.
C. Kim Sawyer suggested an exhibition sparring match of Black Belts to inspire the younger kids.

II. Upcoming Events
A. Bozeman Tournament February 20th – Hangastar?
B. State Qualifier February 27th (We will need help setting up and tearing down. We do not expect many comptitors but will host a sparring seminar afterwards.) Need to register on Hangastar.
C. Regional Qualifier Colorado Srings March 6th. One of 6 Regional Qualifiers across the US.
D. Billings Tournament April 10th – Grand Master Park there. Rosbarsky’s are attending this one.
E. Great Falls Tournament April 10th -
F. Livingston Tournament May 1st – Dan Williams. Great tournament. Runs smoothly. Possibly a Seminar the night before.
G. State Tournament in Butte June 12th –Master Martin is hosting this tournament. Saturday after school gets out. We may charter a bus.
H. Junior Nationals and Senior Nationals June 29th-July 4th – Orlando, FL.
I. AAU Nationals Black Belts June 29th – Fort Lauderdale, FL.
J. AAU Nationals Colored Belts June 30th -

III. Dinner and a Show -Pick a date. Possibly May 7th.
A. Gift Baskets for a silent Auction.
B. ??Raffle for watch
C. Book/coffee Basket
D. Gardening Basket

V. Approximate Cost of Coach for Nationals/Junior Nationals (for 7 days)

B. Lodging $700
C. Ground Transportation $150
D. USAT Event Fee $150
E. Per Diem $175
F. Approximate Total=$2175 (hopefully these costs will go down

Setting up a payment plan will make it easier for the athlete and for the Rosbarsky’s.

We have Austin and Lydia confirmed and anticipate Dylan, Abbey and Kyle (maybe others as well??)

I would like to develop a timeline of payments so that we will not be waiting till the last minute. Possibly a $150 per competitor fee by April 6th with the balacnce due by June 7th.

With fund-raising, we help each individual athlete raise their own money.

  1. Pay for any gear or uniforms the athlete may need. (sparring gear, TKD equipment, shoes, or anything ordered by Mrs. Rosbarsky.)
  2. Pay for testing fees, at colored belt level, but especially black belt level.
  3. Pay for any TKD related seminar or tournament
  4. Pay for travel expenses related to TKD, either tournaments or seminars.
  5. Also to pay for any TKD sponsored events, ie (Lock-ins, camp etc.
