We will be holding four events at this year's tournament. They include Poomsae, Sport Poomsae, Sparring, and Daedo Sparring.
Continually growing event nationally. The US is becoming more competitve globally due to the increasing knowledge and opportunities in this event.
An individual performs their poomsae being judged on Accuracy and Presentation.
There will also be a Freestyle Competition that features many acrabatic and sparring kicks in a creative form with music.

The common method of competing in Montana. There will be two Poomsae athletes competing at the same time and the judges will "call" the winner in each match.
Sparring matches in divisions of 3-6 athletes vie in a reparcharge bracket. We use the Montana Taekwondo Association rules officiated by MTA-certified referees.
Using electronic Hogu for Red and Black belts. Now being used in all sparring events at Nationals and other sanctioned events.
The corner judges need to be aware of turning kicks, head kicks and punches. The magnets in the Daedo Socks striking the hogu will automatically add the points if the technique is properly executed.
